GJKKO sentences "Rrumi i Shijakut" to 10 MONTHS IN PRISON!

The GJKKO sentenced Aleksandër Laho , otherwise known as "Rrumi i Shijakut", to 10 months in prison on charges of "corruption".

SPAK requested his sentence of 3 years, but the court sentenced him to 1.3 years in prison, where due to the summary trial, the sentence was reduced by a third, to 10 months.

According to the investigation, Laho gave the State Attorney's official, Irgen Kërçuku, 600 thousand lekë and promised him another 300 thousand lekë, to not appeal a property issue related to the alienation of 45 thousand square meters of public land in Lalzi Bay.

The name of Aleksandër Laho has been mentioned before in the criminal chronicle.

He was injured in the assassination attempt on prosecutor Arjan Ndoja in 2019, while investigations uncovered a video of him communicating with an official from the State Attorney's Office about the corruption case.

Kërcuk was sentenced to 2 years in prison for the same case.

"Rrumi" is still wanted, while his lawyer has claimed that he is in serious health condition because after the assassination attempt in Albania in 2019, he did not receive proper medical intervention and was left injured by bullets, mutilating one of his legs.

In the November 1 assassination attempt 5 years ago, prosecutor Arjan Ndoja was also injured, while driver Andi Maloku lost his life.

SPAK, after uncovering communications on Sky Ecc, has also managed to uncover the group that planned and carried out the assassination, including Plaurent Dervishaj.
