Brunilda Gjoni has recounted the serious incident that occurred on the evening of February 1 in Tirana, where her father, Hekuran Gjoni, stabbed her son, Asim Gjoni, who unfortunately lost his life.

For News24, she has denied all allegations that the cause of this event, which ended in a murder, was her request to take her father's property from her brothers.

Emphasizing that she has never been interested in her father's wealth, Brunilda said that for years her brothers have been in conflict with each other and that they have been prepared for a tragedy.

"In that house, the murder would happen. They have never had happiness in their lives. They have always been, they have always had a mind to drink," she emphasized from the hospital bed where she has been since February 1 after injuries sustained as a result of the violence inflicted by Asim Gjoni.

Among other things, she has requested help from the state after her family members are threatening her.  

"I never told my dad to throw my house at me. They didn't call me, they threatened me and told me not to come to this neighborhood. And when you get out of the hospital, don't come here to see my dad because if you do, you'll be killed," she said, as she later returned to the night of the crime and told in detail how the incident happened, in which her brother, Asim Gjoni, was the victim, leaving behind an orphan and two minor children.

Excerpt from Brunilda Gjoni's speech:

If not for each other, there would be a murder in that house. Everyone contributed to that house. The property has been divided and the house is in Asimi's name. As far as I know, the first floor is in Asimi's name.

I wasn't interested in my father's wealth. I told my father to leave the house and come with me abroad.

The three brothers drink a lot and have never gotten along well with each other. I went to my dad, I don't know why they got mad at me.

Since I've been separated, I've never had any help from my brothers and father. I don't know why my brothers think I want to take their property. I've never told my father to throw the house at me. They haven't called me, they've threatened me and told me not to come to this neighborhood.

And when you get out of the hospital, don't come here to see your dad, because if you do, you'll be killed. I was just intervening to separate my father and brother. My father, my mother, and I were eating bread.

Asim came at that moment but I saw that he had drunk a lot, his father had also drunk a lot and he started harassing his father with harsh words, you had a lover, your father wasn't making fun of him, he just told him to eat some bread and go home. Meanwhile he caught his father and was saying 'look at how much he has, marshallah'.

He grabbed his father in an intimate place and his father slapped him and said, "Oh, you're a fool, the girl is here, your sister is nearby." Why did his father slap him? Asimi stood up and said, "Whoever grabs his knee with a slap, I'll kill you in two seconds." He grabbed him by the throat and wouldn't let go.

I swear to God, I told him, "Don't be Asim, he's old, tomorrow we can do this to your children."

He dropped his father and hit me, breaking three of my ribs after hitting me and grabbing my father by the throat. At that moment, when I got up, I went to my brother upstairs and told Valentin, "Come on, dad and Asim are fighting."

Valentin came when we saw that his father had stuck a knife in him. The knife was on the table as we cut the bread.

I have no connection with Asim, they started the fight themselves. In that house, the murder was going to happen. They have never had happiness in their lives. They have always been, they have always had a mind to drink.
