If you need to get information from institutions, chances are the available number will not work.

Euronews Albania has tried to call some of the sites that citizens most often ask for help.

OSHE number does not work. No information appears on the website of the Ministry of Education. On the website of the Ministry of Health, 2 out of three numbers do not answer, while one appears as if it does not exist.

IPH was another institution that called but even in this case the answer was the same: "the number you are looking for does not exist".

However if you try several times, you may be lucky. After several attempts the National Food Authority managed to open the phone. The only institutions that responded immediately were the Police and the emergency service.

Although on the websites of the institutions, everything seems cured in terms of contact and the spaces they have set up for the citizens, they do not have someone to answer the phone and even more so, in the email.

Even though technology has advanced, you will still be forced to knock on the doors of these instances.
