Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha denounced today that Endi Çuçi, the son of Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi, has been arrested in Italy as part of the criminal group of smuggling drugs and falsifying documents and prescriptions.

But, sources for VoxNews.al suggest that we are not dealing with an arrest, but only with a criminal proceeding. Endi Çuçi is the son of Bledi Çuçi from his first marriage to Zhaklina Peton, who is already married to doctor Aurel Vula.

Sources for VoxNews.al also suggest that the reason why 24-year-old Endi Çuçi has been investigated by the justice authorities is because he appeared in the wiretapping of this case together with his stepfather, Aurel Vula.

Lawyer Zhaklina Peto, Endi Çuçi's mother and doctor Aurel Vula's wife are also under investigation.

Sources for VoxNews, confirm that a few days ago, SPAK ordered the search of the apartment of the son of Interior Minister Bledi Çuçi, Endi Çuçi and doctor Aurel Vula.

According to the announcement of SPAK, a total of 11 controls were exercised in the premises of apartments, state offices (QSUT) and commercial entities. During the inspections, medical documents in Italian, medical drugs and computer equipment and other evidence relevant to the investigation were found and seized as material evidence.

We recall that during the joint action between SPAK and the Anti-Mafia Directorate of Milan, 9 people were handcuffed and 82 others are under investigation. They are accused of fraud against the Italian national health system, corruption and trafficking in narcotics-containing drugs.
