The hearing for former president Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi has been postponed again. The reason was once again the absence of one of the members of the trial panel, Rudina Palloj.

The lawyers of Meta and Kryemadhi were present as public during the hearing. The presiding judge, Erjon Bani, asked Ilir Meta's lawyer, Bujar Musta, to state the reason why he did not want to represent his client, while standing in the courtroom.

Musta told the court that he felt threatened that the National Chamber of Advocates had made two decisions to boycott the sessions and that he risks having his license revoked if he breaks the boycott.

Bani informed him that the administration of justice is being violated and this constitutes a criminal offense, according to Article 264 of the Criminal Code, "compulsion to participate or not in a strike."

Meanwhile, Meta said that this situation is affecting his interests in the judicial process and that the lawyer is in this position because of his license.
