Albanian man can't stand the separation, sets fire to his ex-partner's

The Italian Carabinieri of the Comiso station in Raguzza arrested a 36-year-old Albanian man on serious suspicion of setting fire to his ex-partner's apartment, using flammable liquid, after another argument.

The incident occurred a few days ago on "Corso Ho Chi Min", as reported by the fire department.

The flames, which did not cause further damage to adjacent infrastructure, damaged the woman's entire apartment.

The couple were reportedly injured. Both were taken to Guzzardi Hospital, where their injuries were not life-threatening, despite burns to their entire bodies and carbon monoxide poisoning.

The suspected perpetrator, after being released from the hospital, was taken to the Ragusa prison and is being held by judicial authorities.

It is suspected that the cause was the constant conflicts between them and the recent separation, which the author did not accept.
