The Tirana Court today overturned the measure securing the suspension from duty of the head of the Tirana IMT Rigers Sheqeri.

During the hearing of the parties and the verification of the conditions of the measure that was announced in absentia, it was found that the conditions for suspension did not exist.

Following the security measure, a few days ago, the IMT also reacted, stating that from the entire procedure carried out by the Inspectorate of Territorial Protection at the Municipality of Tirana regarding the administrative inspection procedure against the company "EUROCOL" sh.pk, regarding construction works carried out at a site in the Sauk area, Farkë Administrative Unit, Tirana, the full legality of the construction intervention has been ascertained.

After a full review of the documentation, the IMT found that the documentation is regular in form and content, there is a full legal basis for carrying out the works, the intervention was carried out in accordance with the construction permit, and that the works are in function of an approved project of public interest.
