Why Iran's attack on Albania is an almost impossible scenario (at least for

The US Embassy in Tirana warned yesterday of possible Iranian attacks in Albania.

Her announcement mainly referred to attacks on American citizens living in Albania.

The Albanian government, meanwhile, denies having any serious information that there could be Iranian attacks in the country.

How real is the possibility of Iranian attacks in Albania?

At the moment, this is an almost impossible scenario.

And this, for the sole reason that Albania is part of NATO.

If Iran were to strike Albania, then it would automatically be at war with NATO as well.

And at this moment, Iran would not want to drag NATO countries into the war, as it already has a difficult situation, fighting with America and Israel.

We recall that NATO has shown restraint in the Middle East conflict and, despite Trump's calls to get involved, has stayed away from the war.

And Iran, of course, has no interest in involving NATO in this war.

Therefore, Albania, at this point, can remain calm.

At least for mass attacks, because isolated terrorist acts are difficult to predict.

Even more so, since Iran would distance itself from them.
