US praises Albania for repatriating citizens from Syria

The United States of America has praised Albania for the process of repatriating Albanian citizens from Syria.

Through a post, the US Embassy in Tirana announced that two women and three children have recently returned to Albania, who are now being provided with a future with support for rehabilitation and reintegration.

" A victory for these families and for global security ," the US Embassy message reads.

The repatriation of Albanian citizens from camps in Syria has been part of a process pursued for years by the Albanian authorities, as part of efforts for their return and reintegration into society.
