Following the controls carried out within the framework of the plan of measures to prevent and crack down on the illegal trade of pyrotechnic substances, on the eve of the end-of-year holidays, the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes has identified another case in the city of Vlora.

During a search conducted at a commercial entity in the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, Vlora, 691 pieces of pyrotechnics (fireworks) were found, which were being traded in violation of the law.

The pyrotechnic items were seized as material evidence, while the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Vlora and criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen LV, 64 years old, resident of Vlora.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
