A serious incident has occurred in Ksamil, where a 49-year-old man from Tirana, Naim Likometi, has been declared missing since the morning of March 8, 2025.

According to sources, 49-year-old Naim Likometi, who owns an apartment in Ksamil, but is a resident of Tirana, left his home at around 6:00 AM on March 8 and has not had any contact with his family or friends since then.

According to family sources, when he left the apartment, he was wearing a black sweatshirt, Adidas sneakers and a dark blue Adidas tracksuit. After his disappearance, the Saranda police have launched a search for him.

What has further increased suspicions is that today at noon, the police found a pair of clothes and a mobile phone on the beach in Ksamil, which, according to family members, belong to the 49-year-old.

According to sources from the Likometa family, the 49-year-old's mobile phone was active until 4:00 PM on March 8, but after that time it turned out to be turned off.

Saranda's law enforcement and border police authorities and his family have launched a search to find the 49-year-old.

Searches are being conducted on land and at sea, as suspicions arise that he may have drowned.
