For the week ahead, our country will be affected by mainly stable weather conditions due to cold and relatively dry air masses.

This situation is the result of the circulation for several days of a low pressure center mainly over the Balkan region.

However, a cold front is expected to pass over our country today, accompanied by humid and cold air masses.

The weather is forecast to be mostly cloudy and with moderate to heavy rainfall for most of the day in most of the territory.

In the Alps, northeast and southeast at altitudes above 600-700 meters, snowfall with medium intensity, while locally and in the high mountain reliefs, heavy snowfall. During the afternoon hours in the north and south, snowfall descends to the hilly heights but with low intensity.

Then, starting from Tuesday until Friday, a post-frontal situation and the stationary circulation of a low pressure center accompanied by cold and dry air masses are expected.

The weather is forecasted along the western lowlands with clear skies and alternating moderate and occasionally dense cloudiness. While in the mountainous reliefs in the east, mainly cloudy weather will occur, but there will be intervals of clear skies.
