The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Klodiana Spahiu , has reacted to the opposition's accusations regarding the case of citizen Albi Sula .

In a post on her Facebook account, she also published a photo from the meeting with him and his mother.

Spahiu says that he personally received the citizen at the office and that his case was followed by health structures, while explaining that he was referred for further treatment in Turkey.

The minister described the opposition's claims as inconsistent with the facts and emphasized that health problems should not be used for political accusations.

The citizen in the photo is Albi Sula. Together with his mother, I personally received him in my office yesterday.

I listened carefully to him about his health problems and the difficult journey of treatment. We explained step by step the follow-up of the case by the health structures and the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, as well as the next steps.

In the face of several claims made publicly by the opposition, the facts are clear:

The citizen who allegedly was not expected was in my office yesterday, in front of me and his mother.

He was treated and followed by doctors at the Oncology Hospital at the University Hospital, according to medical needs and protocols.

In accordance with administrative procedures and the contract with the relevant hospital, his case has been referred for further follow-up in Turkey.

Doing politics is legitimate. Criticizing is right. But a health problem should not be turned into a tool to build an accusation that does not match the facts.

For me, before every political debate is the citizen and his or her concerns.

The doors of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare are and will remain open. To listen, to clarify and, where possible, to find solutions.

Because Faithful Presence is not a slogan. It is a responsibility to the citizen.
