The lawyers' boycott of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime is escalating. After about 20 days without any court proceedings at the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, the lawyers have decided to extend the boycott to include hearings on the determination of security measures.
The decision was made this Wednesday, after a meeting of lawyers at the National Bar Association.
Until now, hearings on security measures were excluded from the boycott. With the new decision, the lawyers have also included these procedures in their stance, further escalating the boycott at the GJKKO.
The boycott has been going on for about 20 days and has led to the postponement of a significant number of court hearings at the Special Court.
