Tirana Police have announced a search for Jetmir Pepaj, the 33-year-old who opened fire at the 'Cinco Cavalli' club in Tirana.

The event occurred on January 1, 2025 at around 04:30.

It is reported that a shell casing was found and seized during the investigation of the scene.

"At the conclusion of the first investigative actions by Police Commissariat No. 2, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, a wanted notice was issued and work is underway to capture citizen JP, 33 years old. This citizen is suspected of having fired a firearm in a festive environment on "Liman Kaba" street on 01.01.2025 at around 04:30. From the examination of the scene, a shell casing was found and seized," announced the Tirana police.

How did the incident happen?

Jetmir Pepaj is accused by the police of illegal possession of weapons and disturbing the public peace.

The young man is the ex-husband of Mariela Berisha, who, along with her sister, former Big Brother Vip resident Antonela Berisha, are accused of raping blogger Klea Prenga.

The shocking event was made public by Klea Prega herself on social media, where she showed the severe wounds and injuries to her face.

The reason for the blogger's rape was a romance she had started with Jetmir Pepaj.

The incident took place on August 6 in a bar in the capital. The two Berisha sisters surrendered to the police after two months on the run and were released by the court.

But how did the clash between the Berisha and Kleas sisters start?

A few months ago, Mariela and her partner ended their 2-year relationship. At the time when this report was in its final days, her partner left for a few days in Dubai. Mariela found out that Klea was also there in these days. This immediately caused the sister of the "Big Brother" resident to urgently leave for Dubai, to 'catch up' her partner and his girlfriend.

It is not known what happened in Dubai, but what is known is that since that trip, Klea and Mariela have clashed several times virtually. On social networks, but also through messages, the two girls have often insulted each other, and the two sisters had even threatened Klea earlier, for the relationship she had started with Mariela's ex-partner. The situation precipitated the evening of August 6, when Mariela found out from her friends where Klea was and went to rape her.

Klea herself has reacted to this news, stating that at the time she was dating, her partner had separated from Mariela. Through her reaction on social media, Klea Prenga states that she has not interfered in any existing or previous relationship between her partner and Marinela Berisha.

According to her, the person she was in a relationship with was not married, but has a child from a previous relationship, which, according to her, ended before they met.

In her testimony before the black squads, Antonela stated that everything came as a result of provocations from Prenga, leading Mariela to explode into such actions.

"I am very sorry for what happened. It was not our intention at all for such an event to happen, and even more so such a consequence. We went to the restaurant, both with my sister, to have dinner. At one point, she abruptly got up from the table, provoked by the victim's behavior. In a fit of anger, right there and then, she grabbed a glass and hit the victim. I intervened between them only to separate them, and above all to protect my sister. She has not been feeling well at all for a year. Provoked in various ways. I am very sorry and I cannot see my sister in this state. I apologize, and I am ready to do everything to normalize relations and help the victim physically rehabilitate, as far as we are concerned. I apologize publicly before the Court."

Mariela, in her speech before the Court, also apologized for the incident and expressed her willingness to pay damages.

"I apologize for what I did. I did not wish for, nor did I ask for or plan for such a situation, much less such a consequence. I have been going through a difficult psychological moment and situation for over a year. I am in a cohabitation, and I have a 2-year-old child, who needs me and my presence and care. I ask for mercy."

Klea Prenga has reacted to the allegations of sisters Antonela and Mariela Berisha, before the Tirana court, in the session where security measures were imposed. Antonela Berisha stated that it was Prenga who provoked her sister, while they were both at the bar simply to have dinner. In the video published by Klea Prenga on Instagram, footage taken from security cameras shows the sisters getting out of the vehicle and heading towards the table where Prenga was having dinner with her friends.

"The security cameras clearly show whether you were dining at the restaurant, denying the statements you made today. Have you asked for mercy in Italy for the attempted murder you committed and that you are currently on trial in Italy, Mariela Berisha, mother with no criminal record? The fact that she has children does not make it easier or more acceptable to avoid justice for such a serious crime. There is no excuse that can reduce their legal responsibility for the violence they caused me. These criminals, meanwhile, are also on trial in Italy for attempted murder against a man, and there is no money that can save them from the consequences of their actions. I will continue to pursue all legal avenues to ensure that justice prevails and these criminals receive the punishment they deserve ," Prenga wrote.
