The Ministry of Education reacts after the English essay circulated on social media 20 minutes after the exam.

Calling it an ugly act, MAS said that the publication of the thesis does not violate the process, while the exam is being conducted with high standards.

The Ministry of Education and Sports assures high school graduates, parents, teachers and the general public that the foreign language exam, the State Matura 2025, is being held in complete security and transparency, according to the regulations in force, guaranteeing the highest testing standards for 27 thousand high school graduates throughout Albania.

The Ministry of Education and Sports clarifies to high school graduates, parents, teachers and the entire public that the first State Matura 2025 exam, foreign language, is being conducted according to the highest standards of security and transparency, in accordance with the State Matura Regulation.

The ugly act of photographing and publishing the thesis of the foreign language matriculation exam, after the exam has begun, does not affect the process at all and cannot negate the hard work of thousands of teachers, administrators, and employees of educational structures across the country, who have worked for months with dedication for the smooth running of this process.

The Ministry of Education and Sports strongly condemns any act that aims to damage the credibility and integrity of the State Matura, emphasizing that any attempt to disrupt the smooth running of the examination process will be dealt with rigorously, according to the regulations in force.

The Ministry of Education and Sports ensures that the exam is being conducted with the best standards, giving high school graduates the opportunity to demonstrate the skills and competencies acquired during their years of study.

These standards are guaranteed by educational structures at every stage of the process: From the design of tests with complete professionalism and security, to the preparation and certification of administrative personnel. Consultations have been carried out in schools, model tests have been distributed by the Educational Services Center since January, the development of pre-tests in schools, as well as psychological support for coping with exam stress, as measures that have accompanied the preparation for the 2025 Matura.

Year after year, we have also strengthened the technical elements of control, including security cameras, entry and exit rules, and administration standards, aiming for a calm and suitable environment for every student.

For the Ministry of Education and Sports, the success of every high school graduate and the right of everyone to take the exam under equal conditions remains a priority. For this reason, our commitment will continue unabated to guarantee a fair and honest process.
