The victim has been identified as Guri Dashi , originally from Rrajca e Librazhd.

For years, he has worked for some of the largest construction companies in the country.

His untimely departure has left behind a deep pain for his family, friends, and colleagues, while those who suffer the most are his two minor children.

For several years, Guri Dashi had been living in Pogradec, where he had built his family life.

In this tragic accident, his company lost a dedicated professional and an exemplary family man.

The investigation team immediately went to the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances and causes of this tragic accident at work, which unfortunately resulted fatal for engineer Guri Dashi.

According to the official Police announcement, Crime Investigation Specialists at the Peqin Police Station have arrested citizen  Enver Hoxha , 64 years old, with the duty of technical manager at the construction site where the incident occurred.

Enver Hoxha's arrest was carried out for the criminal offense of "Violation of safety rules at work", as the investigative actions suspect that the lack of implementation of safety rules led to the tragic consequence.

Police announcement:

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Peqin Police Commissariat arrested citizen EH, 64 years old, with the position of technical manager, in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Violation of occupational safety regulations", after yesterday afternoon, while working at a construction site in the village of Paulesh, an engineer, citizen GD, 42 years old, fell from a height and as a result lost his life.
