The meeting of the Presidency of the Democratic Party where it was decided to open the immediate race for the chairman was accompanied by many tensions, clashes, verbal violence and almost physical violence in the hall where it was held.

After numerous clashes, the first to leave the meeting were the chairman of the democratic parliamentary group, Gazmend Bardhi, and the deputy Dashnor Sula.

Then Saimir Korreshi, Lefter Geshtenja, Bledion Nallbati and Helidon Bushati, after leaving the meeting, were stopped at the wall of the Presidency of the Assembly by Basha's supporters who throughout the meeting exerted pressure by occasionally opening the door of the hall where the meeting was being held and have issued insults to the members of the Presidency who are against the opening of the process for the race of the president.

Militants who support Basha have tried to hit these deputies. Basha's supporters have verbally abused and insulted the journalists who were reporting from 6 p.m. from the outdoor premises where the leadership meeting was held.
