Three people were injured by gunfire this evening in the Lakrishte neighborhood in Pristina.

The event took place under still unclear circumstances, while the police have announced that the perpetrators have been identified and efforts are being made to arrest them.

The injured, whose identity is also not disclosed, have been sent to the hospital where they are under the care of doctors.

"Today around 19:00, the police received information about a gunshot wound that happened in the Lakrishte neighborhood in Pristina.

Immediately after receiving the information, the police went to the scene and took all the necessary actions, which consist of investigating the circumstances that characterize the event.

Based on the initial data, it is suspected that three people were injured with firearms, who were sent for medical treatment.

The police investigators, in coordination with the prosecution, are undertaking investigative actions for the arrest of two suspects (who have been identified) as well as the complete clarification of the case", inform the police officials in Pristina.
