A 19-year-old man wanted for seriously injuring 3 people has been arrested in the village of Pjezë, Shijak.

According to the Police announcement, the 19-year-old was wanted, as it is suspected that in collaboration with another person, they attacked 3 people with cutting tools on the evening of July 26.

The Durrës Court has ordered the 19-year-old to be sentenced to "prison arrest" for "Intentional serious injury", while work continues to arrest the other citizen MH.

A wanted citizen, accused of being an accomplice in the serious injury of 3 citizens, was arrested in the village of Pjezë.

The Durrës Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Shijak Police Commissariat and the Durrës DVP Operational Unit, has organized the operation codenamed "Village", based on information provided on the location of a wanted citizen, who was hiding in a village.

As a result of the operation, citizen LC, 19 years old, resident of Shijak, was captured and detained in the village of Pjezë, Shijak.

This citizen was declared wanted after it is suspected that on the evening of 26.07.2026, in neighborhood no. 13, Durrës, in collaboration with citizen MH (wanted), during a conflict for weak motives, they attacked 3 citizens with cutting tools.

The First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, on 04.08.2026, has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on citizens LC and MH, for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury", committed in collaboration.

Work continues to capture citizen MH.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
