The country's courts and prosecutors' offices have found another way to unblock their salaries in the treasury.
Most justice institutions have turned to the Administrative Court, where they are requesting the annulment of the actions of the Ministry of Finance that blocked the money.
Until this request is reviewed, ordering the treasury branches to transfer salaries immediately. The first request, the one made by the GJKKO, was accepted by Judge Ramiz Lala.
The salary crisis in the justice system culminated after the Parliament did not approve the new salary formula by July 31, as requested by the Constitutional Court.
After the deadline passed, the Supreme Court and the Supreme Labor Court decided that from August 1, the reference salary would be calculated at 222,425 lek, plus an additional 14,000 lek for qualification.
The Ministry of Finance did not execute the payroll with this calculation, arguing that determining salaries is the competence of the Assembly.
