The brother of former footballer Igli Tare, Genti Tare, has filed charges against SPAK regarding the manner in which his brother's interrogation and the seizure of a villa in Palasa were conducted.
During a telephone intervention on the "Top Story" show, Genti Tare said that, according to him, Igli Tare's six-hour stay at SPAK did not mean six hours of interrogation.
Tare claimed that only one hour was effective question time, while he described the rest of the stay as "theater."
"One hour was spent on effective questions, the other 5 hours were theater. For the news to come out: Igli Tare 6 hours in SPAK", declared Genti Tare.
Further, the former footballer's brother claimed that in the case of the seizure of the villa in Palasa, information about the BKH action was made public in the media before it was carried out.
According to Tare, the news about the seizure of the villa was published around 6:00 PM, while, as he claimed, the BKH team arrived around 8:00 PM to carry out the seizure.
"It is the first time that SPAK has exposed SPAK," said Tare, raising questions about the reason for publishing the information before the action was taken.
He also claimed that publishing the news two hours before the seizure could have affected the effectiveness of the action.
"If I had things in that villa, I would have removed them. The seizure happened two hours after the news broke," said Genti Tare.
According to him, SPAK should not have made the information public so quickly, but should have followed the relevant procedures.
"It's a scandal that SPAK issued it in such a hurry. Why did it have to issue it in such a hurry? To follow the procedure," he declared.
At the end of his intervention, Genti Tare criticized the way in which, according to him, Igli Tare was treated, describing the situation created around the former footballer as unfair.
"It is a shame that this is happening to a person who has only done good for this country ," concluded Genti Tare.
