"Why are you looking at me", the murder of the 24-year-old in Shkodra,

The Shkodra Court has imposed the measure of 'prison arrest' on Andri Vulaj, the perpetrator of the murder of Ylber Luli on September 8 in the "Kongresi i Përmetit" neighborhood.

The 25-year-old has not given any testimony either in court or to the police. The only testimony is that of defense attorney Arbër Raja, who stated that the suspected perpetrator has knife injuries to his face, neck, and the arm of one hand.

The defense asked the prosecution to assess the injuries sustained by the suspected perpetrator, why they occurred and where they came from.

Meanwhile, the victim's father, Qamil Luli, stated in his testimony that he was asleep and heard noises from the fight between his son and the suspected perpetrator.

After going out into the yard, the father admitted that they stabbed the suspected perpetrator and then shot his son Ylber Luli, who received a wound in the abdomen and lost his life.

The prosecution also cited during the security measure that the suspected perpetrator went with two people the victim knew and they accompanied him to the apartment.

According to the prosecution, the victim Ylber Luli asked two of his friends via SMS to bring the perpetrator Andri Vulaj home for clarification.

After they went to the house, a conflict occurred between the two young men, who initially fought and after Andri Vulaj was stabbed, it is suspected that the latter shot Ylber Luli with a small pistol, with penetrating force, at close range, leaving him dead.

Prosecutor Albulena Kuliçi requested the security measure "prison arrest", a request which Judge Zamira Lila accepted, leaving the suspected perpetrator of the murder, Andri Vulaj, in custody.

The fight between them so far is alleged to have taken place in a bar in the pedestrian zone of Shkodra between two young men, who argued, saying to each other "why are you looking at me?"

This conflict moved to the victim's apartment, ending tragically with the death of Ylber Luli, who was shot with a gun.

The defense is waiting to be familiarized with the acts and evidence that the prosecution has. Then the suspected perpetrator can testify about the serious incident, while at the moment, according to sources, he is in a serious psychological state.
