Medical students have opposed the government's plan for forced employment. They say that they will never have to force students to stay here.

"Opposition to the Ministry of Education and Health. We are united today in our common goal of rejecting this initiative. We are aware of the departure of doctors, but they do not accept coercion as a solution. We consider the act unfair. Forcing doctors to stay in Albania is a violation of democracy. They told us that the state should spend 5,000 euros for students, which is not true at all since the faculties have many problems. We do not accept this either now or in the season when the students are not here. When faced with the phenomenon, ask yourself why they are running away. We want concrete improvements. Improve conditions and doctors will stay. The doctor will have to be invited, not forced," says a medical student.

Before starting their studies, medical students must sign a contract to work at least 3 years in their homeland, after completing their studies, keeping their diploma as a pledge, or otherwise they will pay the annual tuition fee, with the real cost, value which has not yet been determined.
