The first Mujahideen arrived in Albania in May 2013.
The first groups were housed in apartments rented by the American government in the Astir area and in adapted premises in the former building of a private university on the Tirana-Durres highway.
Their gathering in the Manza camp happened only in 2018, while during the years from May 2013 to July 2018, it is suspected that agents of the Iranian secret services infiltrated the ranks of the Mujahideen.
These agents, disguised as Iranian opponents in Albania, from inside the camp debunked not only the operations of the Mujahideen against the Tehran regime, but also carried out terrorist attacks against Albania.
A typical case is that of the 48-year-old Iranian, Bijan Poladrag. He was sentenced in December of last year to 10 years in prison for the charge of terrorism.
He was part of the members of the mujahedin and a resident of the camp located in Manzë of Durrës, while he was declared guilty of a series of criminal offenses, such as terrorist organization, attacks on the computer system, tampering with unauthorized computer data on Albanian systems and others .
Poladrag acted as an infiltrator among the Mujahideen sheltered in Albania, and in the meantime it is suspected that he was planning a terrorist attack. Referring to the investigation file, he left the camp and rented a house.
Investigators suspect that he, using a girl's cell phone, sent Iranian officials data on mujahedin who are in our country, photographs and other information.
In August of last year, at the request of SPAK, various controls were carried out in the residences and associations of some citizens from Iran, with suspicions that they carry out illegal espionage activity, against the Iranian opposition in exile who is sheltering in Manez
Conversations and messages directed at people living in Iran and who are suspected to be part of the Revolutionary Guard in this country were revealed to the suspect. Initially, the suspect was investigated by Anti-Terror and the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana and received the measure of arrest in prison.
But then, SPAK raised the charge of the terrorist organization, bringing the charges against Poladrag to five, while 11 people were detained in total, including Albanians.
