Former Prime Minister Fatos Nano
The health condition of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano has improved and today he left the hospital.
Nano was hospitalized for about a month in a private hospital in Tirana, after he developed lung problems.
Recently, his health condition has stabilized, and he was able to leave the hospital bed by being transported to his home.
Nano developed problems from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease otherwise known as COPD.
This is a disease (pathology) that affects the lungs and can be prevented. It is characterized by an irreversible or partially reversible narrowing (obstruction) of the airways.
