This is a part of the terrain where the two sisters from the village of Hondisht i Pogradec are forced to cross every day to go to and from school.
Rexhina and Renata have to walk more than an hour to go to school and the same to return. A2
's camera accompanied in one day the sacrifice that the two sisters make to get an education.
"We go every day willingly. Only when we are sick, we don't go", says the eldest of them.
Of course, because of the road and terrain, their father accompanies them every day.
As we talk to the girls, you immediately understand that the distance from the school has only increased their desire to learn and that it seems as if it has taken away their sense of grievance.
"I am in the 6th grade and I walk to school every day, which is an hour and a half away. There are no days that we are absent, like in the snow and rain."
"I am 6 years old and I go to the first grade. We walk more and I get a little tired", says the youngest. And in reality, daily fatigue does not distract them during the lessons, which they follow correctly and almost without any absences.
Even their father seems to be tireless in his sacrifice to educate the girls, in winter and summer.
"I am 6 years old and I am taking the eldest daughter, it is difficult, but we have a duty. In winter it is more difficult, but in fact we also use the horse for the girls", says the father.
And of course, education with such sacrifices deserves that girls also have wishes for their future.
Even more difficult days will come with autumn and winter, but the two sisters greet us smiling and confident that they will make it.
