In the last few days, there has been a lot of talk about the consumption of the "balloon" drug in nightclubs, mainly in Tirana.

In the most frequented areas of the capital, you can order 'Tullumbacen' with nitrous oxide as if you were looking for a coffee.

Those who consume this type of drug are very young, from the beginning of adolescence.

Journalist Aida Topalli told the show "GoodMorning Albanian" that she tried the balloon drug, which she found for 250 ALL.

"On line you can find nitrogen canisters that are sold on Instagram, they can also bring it by mail. I've tried it very little while we were working with young people on the topic and it didn't give me the effect that it was psychological that I didn't drink the whole balloon, then I had a terrible headache after half an hour. I consumed it out of curiosity, to see what teenagers benefit from this," said the journalist.

According to doctors, this substance can cause asphyxiation and even death depending on the amount consumed, because its influence causes the oxygen supply to be cut off.

It causes feelings of euphoria and intoxication, but this is only in the first moments.
