While a few days ago they clashed at a distance regarding a protest that took place in Tirana for former KLA leaders, Prime Minister Edi Rama met with his Kosovar counterpart, Albin Kurti.

The Albanian Prime Minister appears next to Kurti, at a reception for Western Balkan leaders on the eve of the Berlin Process Summit, which was held yesterday in London.

The photo also shows King Charles of Great Britain, meeting with Kosovar Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

The summit is attended by the leaders of Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia, as well as representatives of EU countries and the United Kingdom, which holds the presidency of the process this year.

For the first time, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is also participating in this format. The German government considers the Berlin Process a “success story,” an official statement said on the eve of the London summit. “The German government will continue this process as part of its commitment to the Western Balkans – a region of strategic importance for Europe,” the statement said.
