The IT expert, Gent Progni, said that three countries are hiding behind the cyber attacks in our country.
Progni said in Euronews Albania that Russia and Iran are involved in this attack, while he said that there are also doubts about Serbia.
"We have three states involved so far. Even with the attack that is happening in Macedonia and Kosovo, there are three states. We are waiting for a report to reveal the names of the states. We are working to find out who is behind this attack. A Balkan state, Russia and Iran are involved in this attack. I can't say without gathering a lot of information. Doubts lead us to a state", he said.
Progni further said that the cyber attack on the TIMS system is very alarming that we may even have a breach of national security.
Progni said that the attack is well prepared and well thought out about the consequences.
He suggested that serious task forces be set up to manage the situation.
"We may also have violations of national security. There is sensitive information about each person, where they moved and how they moved. This group has shown even with more developed countries that they have all the capacities and investments to reach anywhere", said the expert.
While the expert Ledion Krisafi said that Iran and Russia are against Albania.
According to him, Iran's failure to carry out a terrorist attack on the MEK led to the cyber attack on the systems.
"Albania's relations with Iran have deteriorated and Albania was unprepared for this. The MEK has been heavily influenced by Iran. The failure of terrorist attacks, turned into a cyber attack. Iran has turned into a very close ally for Russia," he said.
He said that Russia's goal is to create instability in the Balkans.
"The possibility of cyber attacks is extraordinary to create uncertainty and chaos in a NATO country. Russia's goal in the Balkans is to create instability," he said.
