Although more than 48 hours have passed since the cyber attack on the police systems, they are still not completely back to normal.

Manual registration of citizens continues at all border crossing points. There have been continuous attempts by the police to restore the system, but it is either slow or does not receive the data.

These images were filmed around 14:00 on Monday in Kapshtica. The system opens for a few moments, it is slow, it does not receive the data, and then it turns off, returning to manual registration and control of persons in search with printed lists.

If there is an increased flow of travelers, the border police only take photos of the passports and complete the data at a second time. This also happens in Rinas.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the slowdown is almost imperceptible and is due to new servers deployed to protect the TIMS system from Saturday's attack.

The hacker group continues to release videos where it tries to show that it is one step ahead of the authorities and that it has access to airport cameras and police systems.

The investigative group set up to unravel this attack has detected interference in the system from 18 IPs that coincide with 18 different countries, TCH reports.

The Albanian police has sent letters to these countries to go to the perpetrators of this attack.

The lack of systems has brought anomalies in the normal functioning of the police work, which makes it more difficult to verify the most wanted persons, passports or to reflect the daily work.

Due to the lack of the police system, citizens fined by the police are also penalized who cannot pay the fine within 5 days and will have to pay it with late interest.

In the absence of the system, work has become difficult in all police stations and directorates, which do not compile any documents with a computer and write everything in notepads.
