Ervin Salianji surrenders to the Police

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ervin Saliajni, was placed under arrest, today at 17:25, after he surrendered to the Police Directorate of Tirana.

Salianji is expected to start serving a one-year prison sentence, given by the Court of Appeal of Tirana.

He met with the democratic supporters at the entrance of the Police Directorate, while he is already expected to be transferred to Fier prison.

Salianji was sentenced to one year in prison by the Court of Appeal of Tirana, for "false report", related to the denunciation of the audio recording known as "Babale", where he claimed to be the brother of Fatmir Xhafaj, Geron Xhafaj.
