The DP and SP in the Media Commission have agreed to initiate procedures for the dismissal of all members of the RTSH Steering Council.

Ina Zhupa , chairwoman of the Commission, and Evis Kushi , the socialist vice-chairwoman, listed the violations committed by the Steering Council over the years, saying that the illegal procedure for electing the Director General of RTSH was the " pouring of the cup " for this institution.

The Media Committee's proposal will be sent to the Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, who will send it to the plenary session for approval.

It was also emphasized that they have personally or family members benefited from RTSH funds through various contracts and projects, or have family members employed.

Another finding by the members of the Media Commission was that RTSH also lacked transparency in expenditures (no reports were published).
