The Police Supervision Agency has arrested a Guard employee, following violence during the Partizani-Tirana derby.

The guard, with the initials EI, is accused of committing the criminal offenses of "Opposition of an employee performing a state duty or a public service", "Opposition of a police officer" and "Violent acts in sports activities".

 

"The arrest was made possible after investigative actions carried out in cooperation with Police Station No. 4 in relation to the event of 09/02/2025, where during the football match, there were violent clashes between fans, which resulted in physical injuries to several people in the stadium, including a stadium security officer and a police officer," AMP informed.

The Police Supervision Agency (Tirana Region) has arrested Guard employee Inspector EI, suspected of committing the criminal offenses of "Opposition of an employee performing a state duty or a public service", "Opposition of a police officer" and "Violent acts in sports activities".

The arrest was made possible after investigative actions carried out in cooperation with Police Station No. 4 in relation to the event of 09/02/2025, where during the football match, there were violent clashes between fans, which resulted in physical injuries to several people in the stadium, including a stadium security officer and a police officer.

Also, the Police Supervision Agency (Tirana Region) has arrested in flagrante delicto the police officer ML, at the Vora Police Commissariat, suspected of the criminal offense of "Irregular driving of vehicles".

The arrest was made after on 08/02/2025 at around 19:00 on the secondary road Marikaj - Vorë, while driving, he was involved in a road accident with another vehicle. The verification with the alcohol test resulted positive at 1.06mg/l.
