The Tirana Court has approved the request of the Italian authorities to initiate extradition proceedings for Genti Nderjaku (also known as Ekil Nderjaku) and Ervis Deti, arrested during Operation "Ura", which aimed to crack down on a criminal drug trafficking organization.

Following the request of prosecutor Endrit Bimi, the court ordered the two arrested to be remanded in custody until the extradition documentation is received from the Italian authorities.

Furthermore, the Tirana Court declared incompetence and transferred the case to the Durrës Court, which will deal with the decision-making on their extradition, as the two arrested are residents of this city.
