Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi

Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi, in a public communication this Thursday in the presence of journalists, spoke about the voting process, up to its closure.

Celibashi said for the first time that during the election days and following them, the CEC website had several cyberattacks, which according to him were all from outside and not random, but organized.

"The CEC platforms, from the registration one, have been found under cyber attacks, we have communicated with the relevant institutions such as those of cyber security and those related to legal prosecution whenever they have been identified. They have not been attacks by amateurs but organized and sophisticated, not random, all from abroad. Comparable to attacks that have occurred in other countries," he said.
