Major anti-drug operation in Milan, the network of Albanians is hit

A major anti-drug operation took place in the Milan area, on Friday, May 30.

The carabinieri of the Pioltello Company, on the order of the investigating judge of the Court of Milan, executed a prison arrest warrant against three people and ordered checks against six other people, in the provinces of Milan and Palermo, write Italian media.

Thanks to wiretapping and field tracking, investigators have documented the sale of doses in public places by individuals who are mainly Albanian citizens. The main places of hiding the drugs were identified, including a private house and a commercial business, where the substances were stored and the proceeds of the trafficking were collected.

Investigations have proven that the organization was led by three Albanians aged 46, 43 and 48, responsible not only for the distribution of doses, but also for managing logistics, contacts with suppliers and resolving any internal conflicts.

The operation also led to the seizure of ten bank, postal and deposit accounts attributed to the entities involved, which contained funds believed to be the result of criminal activity.
