Known as the "Michelangelo of Shkodra", the famous painter Pjerin Sheldija passes away

The well-known Albanian painter, Pjerin Sheldija, passed away at the age of 87.

Otherwise known as the "Michelangelo of Shkodra", he was the author of over 200 frescoes in over 35 churches in Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and England.
