Mamurras incident: The son of the former DP MP pulled out a pistol at the police

A State Police operation on the "Mamurras-Laç" axis has ended with one person injured and one arrested.

According to the police, during the intervention to capture an internationally wanted person, the 23-year-old suspect Leonard Dema attempted to hit Special Operations Force officers with a vehicle, endangering their lives.

At the same moment, the person accompanying him, Amadeo Fufi, allegedly threatened the police with a firearm.

In self-defense, the police intervened to neutralize the situation.

During the action, the 23-year-old was injured in the abdomen, who was transported to the Trauma Hospital and is under the care of doctors.

The other person arrested in the meantime has been identified as Amadeo Fufi, the son of former DP MP Mhill Fufi, who was accompanying the wanted person during the incident.

Police also seized a pistol firearm.
