A police officer was hit with hard objects by two people while he was in the car with his brother. The police inform that the incident happened around the early hours of this morning in Tirana.

The two injured are in the hospital and their lives are out of danger.

It is known that the police officer and his brother were moving in the area and a group of several people saw them and stopped them. Other people have demanded a sum of money from the effective's brother, as they claimed that the debt and the conflict between them was old. During the quarrel, the young people were hit with hard objects such as sticks and stones.

"On 02.09.2023 around the early hours of the morning, on "Besim Alla" street, during a conflict due to still unclear circumstances, BB citizens, and BB, in cooperation with some other citizens, allegedly hit EF citizens, (police officer), BF, and their vehicle.

During the conflict, the EF citizen was shot with a ground service weapon, which was later found at the scene. As a result, citizens EF and BF were injured and are in the hospital, out of danger for life. The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the conflict, and to identify and capture other involved persons," the police announced.
