A 27-year-old man was handcuffed this Saturday in Kruja for cultivating narcotic plants in 3 different places.

The police have found 305 narcotic plants planted in the villages of Dukagjin i Ri, Fushë-Thumanë and Burrnesh. The arrested person is young Alfred Doçi.

"Kruje/The police operation coded "Water gate" is finalized by the Kruje Police Station. He had cultivated 305 narcotic plants in 3 different countries, the suspected author was arrested. Another citizen is being prosecuted for not reporting a crime. Narcotic plants that were found cultivated are destroyed.

The services of the Krujë Police Station, following the work to guarantee order and security, the identification and suppression of criminal activities, the red-handed arrest of citizens who commit criminal offenses, the controls exercised to prevent the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants, have intensified controls throughout the territory and finalized the coded police operation "Water Gate".

As a result of this operation, the citizen AD, 27 years old, resident in the village of Fushë-Thumanë, was arrested. The RK citizen, resident in Fushë-Thumanë, was also processed in a free state. The 27-year-old cultivated narcotic plants in the villages of Dukagjin i Ri, Fushë-Thumanë, and Burrnesh, while the RK citizen was aware of this criminal activity, as part of the plants were cultivated near a facility owned by him, and did not report to the competent authorities.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions", says the police.
