A 38-year-old man was arrested after being accused of stealing 17,000 euros from his brother's apartment.

The incident is known to have happened in April of last year, while the Elbasan police announced today the arrest of Elton Muça. The police say that his wife, an accomplice in this theft, is being prosecuted. 

"From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these two citizens, on 23.04.2023, stole 17,000 euros from the residence of citizen MM, in the village of Bathës," the police informed today.
The operation was coded "Batha"

As a result of this operation, Elton Muça, 38 years old, a resident of the village of Bathës, was arrested and imprisoned, pursuant to the arrest order issued by the Prosecutor, for the criminal offense of "Theft".

Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the citizen KM, 37 years old (the wife of the citizen EM).

As material evidence, the vehicle of citizen EM was seized, which this citizen is suspected to have bought with the stolen money.
