The moment of the accident

The images of the accident recorded yesterday on the Pogradec-Korçë axis, near the village of Leminot in Maliqi, where a motorcycle collided with a car and as a result, the driver of the motorcycle was injured.

As can be seen in the following video, the vehicle type "Toyota Yaris" driven by citizen BK, 61 years old, blocked the path of the motorcycle driven by citizen Zh. V., 17 years old.

Due to the high speed, the engine, which was also without a license plate, could not stop, colliding with the car. The collision was so strong that the 17-year-old ended up on the other side of the car, hitting the ground.

The 17-year-old was first sent to the Korça hospital and then sent to Tirana for more specialized treatment and is out of danger.

Both drivers are residents of the village of Zvirinë in Maliq. Today, the police arrested the 61-year-old man, who is accused of the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules", while the 17-year-old man was also prosecuted.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office of the Korça Judicial District for further action.
