According to reports from the structures of the Civil Protection system, at the Civil Emergency Operations Center, the situation up to this moment is as follows:

During the night and morning of today, in most of the country's territory there was low-intensity rainfall and in short intervals of moderate intensity, but without causing problems.

As a result of the rainfall, there is water in several problematic spots in the city of Durrës, such as at the Stadium intersection, at the train station, in neighborhood 17, in the Kënetës and Shkozet areas, where the movement of pedestrians and vehicles is difficult.

According to information from the Albanian Road Authority, all national road axes are open and there are no problems with vehicle traffic.

According to reports from civil protection system structures at the local level, all rivers and reservoirs are within their normal quotas and do not pose any danger.

The Armed Forces continue to deploy 7 troops and 6 vehicles to the Vlora city waterworks. The waterworks is currently operating with 3 pumps out of 4 available.

According to OSSH reports, electricity supply is being provided regularly. There are temporary interruptions to some subscribers due to repairs and defects, but OSHEE teams are working on it.

According to forecasts from IGJEO, moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected in the Vlora and Gjirokastër districts in the coming hours. Moderate rainfall is expected in the Shkodër, Lezhë, Durrës and Tirana districts, accompanied by thunderstorms.

Light to locally moderate precipitation is expected in the rest of the country. In the North and Northeast, snowfall is expected at altitudes above 900 m above sea level.

Storms and high intensity of rainfall for short periods of time can create various problems as well as water flooding in urban areas depending on the sewage system in the regions of Shkodër, Lezhë, Durrës, Vlorë and Gjirokastër.

Monitoring and coordination with all central and local institutions continues to manage in a timely manner any emergency situation that may arise.
