The Tirana Court has ordered the security measure of "prison arrest" for IMT inspector Klajdi Zhilla, accused of the criminal offenses of "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions" and "Abuse of office", committed in collaboration.

Zhilla is suspected of having demanded a bribe of 1,000 euros from a businessman in the Kombinat area, in order to avoid taking legal action against the bar's tent that had encroached on public space.

Before the court, Klajdi Zhilla claimed that he had gone to meet and receive the money from the businessman, the person who had also filed the complaint, in order to implement the order of Inspector Geraldo Fuçia , who was imprisoned by court decision for the same case.
