The Israeli Defense Minister has called on Israeli soldiers to get ready to enter Gaza, although he has not said when the offensive will begin.
In a meeting with Israeli troops stationed on the border with Gaza, Yoav Gallant told them to organize and be ready to await the order to enter Gaza.
"You are seeing Gaza from afar, soon you will see it from the inside, I promise. An order will come very soon," he told the soldiers.
About 350,000 Israeli troops have gathered on the border with Gaza, equipped with weapons, ammunition and heavy military equipment, awaiting the order to launch the offensive in Gaza.
Israel has vowed to "exterminate Hamas terrorists from the face of the earth" after the brutal attack on the morning of October 7 that left over 1,000 Israeli civilians dead, a large part of them children and young people.
A significant number of Israelis were taken hostage and are currently being held in Gaza.
