Ermira Kaçaçi, the mother of Gert Shehu, the 31-year-old who hit former Prime Minister Sali Berisha today, after three hours, has completed her statement to the Police.

She stated that her son has been suffering from mental health problems for 5 years and that he was taking medicine continuously without interruption from doctor Sadik Lala.

She also said that Gerti was not involved in any political party. In front of the Judicial Police Officers of police station No. 1, she tells that her son, whenever there are protests, stays locked inside and does not leave the house.

According to the mother's testimony, her son has bipolar behavior, and recently he has not shown aggression.
