"The boss ordered me" - "Special" meetings in Laert

Perent Lëngu, an employee with an 18-year career at the Drenova prison in Korça, has been indicted by the prosecution on charges of "Forgery of documents", in connection with the scandal of entering a meeting twice with Kosovar model Ziza Pajaziti.

Lëngu risks a sentence of 1 to 7 years in prison, after the investigation revealed that he intentionally falsified the document of the special meeting on June 13, 2025 between life-sentenced Laert Haxhiu and Ziza Pajaziti.

The fact that Perent Lënga has written the name of the convict "Vladimir Kurti" on the document, while in reality Ziza Pajaziti has met with the convict Laert Haxhiu, has led to the filing of charges of "Forgery of documents" against the senior employee of the Drenova prison.

In connection with this scandal, the former chief of police of Drenova Prison, Sokol Kaçolli, has also been named as a defendant, against whom the prosecution filed charges of "Making a false statement before a Judicial Police Officer."

But because this criminal offense was amnestied by the Law on "Amnesty", the criminal prosecution against the former Drenova prison official, Sokol Kaçolli, has been discontinued.

The former police chief of Drenova Prison, Kaçolli, had full knowledge of the two meetings held by Laert Haxhiu and Ziza Pajaziti, but tried to remove his responsibility from this situation.

According to the investigative file, on June 12, 2025, Kosovar model Ziza Pajaziti appeared at the Drenova prison premises, where she requested a meeting with the life-sentenced prisoner, Laert Haxhiu.

Ziza Pajaziti had brought with him a perfume, several packs of thin cigars, 5 thick cigars, and a knife.

After being searched by prison guards, they notified the Chief of Police, Sokol Kaçolli, who arrived together with the Chief of Internal Affairs, Arshim Olldashi.

"...the latter tried one of the cigars and told the police that they were fine, telling us to ask the prison director. The Director, Fatjon Fasho, was then notified, who was informed of the items in question, and he replied that, if they had been checked by the bosses and were fine, they could be allowed to pass. So we did..." - declared one of the police officers.

Meanwhile, Ziza Pajaziti continued the search in the private room and after taking the items she was going to take to Laert HAxhiu, she entered the meeting mode.

Pajaziti finished the meeting on June 12 with Laert Haxhiu and again on June 13, 2025, she appeared at the Drenova prison premises, requesting a meeting with the convict Vladimir Kurti, as according to her, this convict was a relative.

Ziza had brought nothing for Vladimir Kurti. But he entered the internal regime of Drenova Prison, meeting not with Vladimir but with Laert Haxhiu.

Lidhur me këtë skandal është marrë në pyetje dhe i dënuari Vladimir Kurti, i cili ka pohuar se:

“…modelen kosovare Ziza Pajaziti, nuk e njoh dhe nuk kam realizuar asnjë takim me këtë shtetase. Gjithashtu, nuk kam kërkuar takim me të. Deklaroj se kam rreth katër muaj që nuk zhvilloj takime familjare…”.

Ndërkohë nga këqyrja e librave të shërbimit rezulton se, në datën 13 qershor 2025, Ziza Pajaziti është regjistruar për të takuar të dënuarin Vladimir Kurti, por në të vërtetë ka realizuar takim me të dënuarin Laert Haxhiu në një ambient pa kamera sigurie.

Punonjësi i Policisë së Burgjeve, Perent Lëngu, ka pasqyruar në librin e takimeve të dhëna të rreme, sikur i dënuari Vladimir Kurti ka zhvilluar takim me Ziza Pajazitin. Gjithashtu, Perent Lëngu deklaron se urdhrin për lejimin e këtij takimi e ka marrë nga shefi i Policisë së burgut, Sokol Kaçolli.

Nga këqyrja e librave të shërbimit të IEVP Korçë rezulton se të dhënat e pasqyruara për takimin e datës 13 qershor 2025 nuk përputhen me pamjet filmike që monitorojnë këto ambiente.

Nisur nga deklarimi i shefit të Policisë, Sokol Kaçolli, i cili deklaron se nuk ka dijeni për takimin e datës 13 qershor 2025, ndërmjet të dënuarit Laert Haxhiu dhe Ziza Pajaziti, si dhe se gjatë orarit kur ky i dënuar ka zhvilluar takimin nuk ka marrë asnjë njoftim nga përgjegjësi i takimeve, Perent Lëngu, dhe se në atë orar ka qenë në zyrën e tij.

Nga këqyrja e pamjeve filmike rezulton se, në datat 12 qershor 2025 dhe 13 qershor 2025, është zhvilluar takim ndërmjet Zize Pajaziti dhe të dënuarit Laert Haxhiu në një ambient që nuk monitorohet nga kamerat e sigurisë.

Gjithashtu, në datën 13 qershor 2025, pas përfundimit të takimit ndërmjet Zize Pajaziti dhe të dënuarit Laert Haxhiu, rreth orës 15:04, në hyrje të ambienteve të takimeve, nga pamjet filmike konstatohet prania e shefit të Policisë, Sokol Kaçolli, i cili përshëndetet me të dënuarin Laert Haxhiu dhe shtetasen Zize Pajaziti dhe më pas largohet nga Regjimi i Brendshëm.

Nisur nga deklarimi i drejtorit të institucionit, Fatjon Fasho, rezulton se ai ka mësuar se ky takim është lejuar nga shefi i Policisë, Sokol Kaçolli, pasi në datën 13 qershor 2025, ky i fundit ka takuar të dënuarin Laert Haxhiu, para zhvillimit të takimit dhe më pas ka shkuar tek përgjegjësi i takimeve, Perent Lëngu, së bashku me përgjegjësin e grupit të sigurisë, Kosta Xite.

Fatjon Fasho, ka pohuar se në cilësinë e drejtorit të institucionit, ka thirrur të gjithë zinxhirin e punonjësve për analizë, por vetëm shefi i Policisë, Sokol Kaçolli, nuk është paraqitur, duke shmangur pjesëmarrjen.

Nga këqyrja e librit të hyrje-daljeve të personelit në kolonën, Godina A, Sektori 1, ku është i akomoduar i dënuari Laert Haxhiu, rezulton se shefi i Policisë, Sokol Kaçolli, ka hyrë në datën 13 qershor 2025 në orën 10:45 dhe ka dalë në orën 10:55.

From the information received from the General Directorate of Prisons on the inspection carried out at the Korça Penitentiary Institution, it results that serious violations of the security elements in this institution have been found, allowing the convict Laert Haxhiu, who is being followed with a special measures plan due to the high social danger he poses, to meet with citizen Zize Pajaziti in premises not monitored by security cameras, creating reasonable suspicion that a special meeting, namely sexual intercourse, may have taken place.
