New details from the closed-door hearing held today for Jozef Marku and Kristjan Nikolli.

The singer and his relative are accused of violence against Eduard Kuçi, a former contestant on Për'puthen, while the court has ordered "house arrest" for both of them.

In his testimony, Marku defended himself by stating that it was an act of hot-bloodedness and that Kuçi cursed his family.

"I apologize for the action. I did it in a fit of rage. I did not know Eduard Kuçi before. I met him on social networks, where he insulted my family. I only slapped him once, telling him to apologize for insulting my family," Jozefin Marku is reported to have said.

Meanwhile, Nikolli stated that he was not present at the scene, while regarding the ammunition found in the apartment, he stated that it was rusty and in unusable condition.

"I was at a wedding the night the incident happened, I was not present at the scene. I have a friend named Jozi, everyone knows that. The cartridges you found in my house were rusty, I don't know why they were there," Kristjan Nikolli testified.
