A powerful explosion occurred this morning at the "EiDA" gas station, in the Bërryl area of ​​Tirana, causing the injury of three employees and considerable material damage.

It is learned that the explosion was caused by a gas cylinder in the gas station premises, where vehicles are supplied with gas. As a result, a 1-story building collapsed, while three gas station employees were injured.

At the time of the explosion, a vehicle was being refueled with gas at the gas station. It is not yet known if there were any other people involved or injured in the explosion.

The three injured workers have been transported to the hospital, where they are receiving medical attention. Their condition is not yet known.

The explosion has caused panic in the Bërryl area, while the damage to the fuel building is visible. Emergency services and authorities have arrived at the scene, and are working to fully clarify the circumstances and cause of the explosion.
